This is your chance to meet other vegans who want to do the same.
There are thousands of us in South Australia who don't eat animals.
We first met New Years Day 2005 -- We have found lots in common including raw food, growing food, the environment, healing, animal rights and travel -- Lots of discussion of food sourcing and preparation -- Sharing food has been great.
Travellers drop in so we are starting to link with interstate and overseas groups.
We have dinner (Some just have a drink) every first and third Friday in the month in the city. One or two dozen usually show up. - other things happen like shared picnics. A few vegetarians in transition to vegan also turn up.
Other Fridays (usually around 6 to 6:30 pm) we go to Pure Vegetarian in the Central Market - no need to book - vegetarians and meat-eaters can come to this gathering.
You can book into events and see who else is coming on the events page and message or ring one of us so you know someone when you first come. .
In the members area you can subscribe for Email event reminders, add a photo or personal details or display your contact details to members or to the public. Remember to keep your Email address updated.
